According to the Gartner report, “NPMD solutions are key in helping I&O leaders support more complex technologies and services with network visibility, performance issue detection and root cause analysis.”
“The growing complexity of IT poses a real challenge to today’s businesses. Flowmon helps them to take control over entrusted environment and to significantly simplify the everyday tasks of network and system professionals,” states Rostislav Vocilka, CEO at Flowmon Networks. “It is an honour to be again positioned in the Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics. We believe it reaffirms our success in delivering a high performance, scalable and easy to use solution.”
The company was evaluated for its Flowmon solution, a comprehensive platform utilizing an advanced flow-based network traffic monitoring technology, packet capture and behavior analytics. In 2016 Flowmon introduced several new features, extended visibility into the network traffic and developed a new engine allowing a way to profile flow data with 30 sec granularity which massively reduces the reaction time to network operational and security issues. All of this has opened new business opportunities and broadened Flowmon’s customer base.
“Based on positive feedback from our customers we have kept on innovating and have launched several new projects which define our roadmap for the next three years. Extended visibility into application layer protocols, support for OpenStack virtualization and flow-data generation from PCAPs, plus the new GUI are amongst the first features to appear,” says Petr Springl, Director of Products and Alliances at Flowmon Networks.
