Sales Executive DACH

Mission

  • Generate and qualify leads, actively prospect for new business opportunities and projects

  • Build relationships with prospective customers and turn the prospective customers into a revenue in the region

  • Build relationships with distributors, partners and end customers including but not limited to system integrators, large enterprises, ISPs, data centers, banks, Fortune 100 (or local equivalent) companies

  • Create and maintain the sales pipeline for the region

  • Provide basic sales training for partners

  • Collaborate closely with presales and marketing teams on market development and execution of the country strategic initiatives and plans

  • Identify opportunities for marketing campaigns and partner activities leading to an increase in sales

  • Alongside with marketing drive marketing activities in the country with partners and customers, conferences and exhibitions attendance

  • Gain and maintain market  intel and have a good understanding of company’s global and local competitors including their products and offerings

  • Participate in regular business reviews and forward planning sessions

Requirements

  • Go-getter individual with a strong IT background (preferably in networking & security)

  • Strong hunting approach, no fear to pick up the phone or get foot in the door

  • Solid network around our potential customers

  • Experience with vendor representation in a networking or security space (firewall, networking or SIEM companies like Check Point, Fortinet, Extreme, Enterasys, Netscout, Arcsight)

  • 5+ years experience in security or networking sales

  • Openness to work in a growing and fast moving environment

  • Work from home - this is a remote position with occasional trip to other offices

  • Self-confidence in presentations and communication

  • Native German and fluent English

  • Salesforce.com CRM experience is a plus
